The Cutting Garden is a local Westminster Maryland flower shop with absolutely the freshest flowers available for pickup or local delivery. They are a totally independent florist, not connected with FTD, Teleflora, or any other wire service. Local flower delivery is available anywhere in Carroll County as well as northern Baltimore County (Reisterstown and Glyndon area). While The Cutting Garden does not have the "pick by number" floral arrangements of the wire services, they can make just about anything! If you desire something a little special, like Calla Lilies or tropical flowers, just order a day or 2 ahead; that way they can be ordered in fresh. In addition to ready-made bouquets, The Cutting Garden offers dish gardens, blooming plants at various times of the year, fruit and snack baskets, and mylar balloons and balloon bouquets. Anniversaries – Baby Showers – Births For those special occasions such as an anniversary, baby shower, or the arrival of a newborn; flowers are the perfect way to express your feelings. Birthdays – Parties – Banquets Whether it’s for dinner with friends or more extravagant functions such as birthday parties, banquets and other events, flowers add the perfect touch to create the ambience that you desire. |

The Cutting Garden enjoys doing weddings, and it shows in the work they do. Wedding flowers are priced as if the bride's party would be picking them up, and charge separately for the delivery based on estimated time required. For weddings, delivery is available to Reisterstown, Pikesville, and Glyndon in Baltimore County (Grey Rock Mansion, Camp Frettered) Ellicott City (Turf Valley), Marriottsville ( Waverly Mansion) in Howard County, Frederick (Ceresville Mansion), The Links at Gettysburg, Ski Liberty Resort in Emmittsburg in York, Adams County PA (Southern Pennsylvania), and of course anywhere in Carroll County. However, delivery is not available into Baltimore City.
The Cutting Garden can only handle a certain number of weddings for each week, so be sure to book well in advance, especially for the months of June and September. If your wedding date is at a holiday such as Valentine's, Easter, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas, please be aware that it's quite possible they will not be able to deliver. Do please ask for specifics, though!
Something else to remember is that many of the flowers pictured in bridal magazines and planners are either not readily available, or are tremendously expensive. That being said, The Cutting Garden really encourages you to bring in plenty of pictures of things that strike your fancy because it gives them a good feel for the type of look you desire.
